This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a high-achieving Medical Science Liaison team.

• Establish expectations for scientific excellence, stakeholder engagement, insight generation, accountability, and outcomes.

• Deliver hands-on coaching through regular field visits, collaborative engagements, feedback, and tailored development.

• Maintain direct scientific relationships with neurologists, specialists in movement disorders, investigators, advanced practice providers, and other key stakeholders.

• Convert Medical Affairs strategy into regional stakeholder planning, strategic account planning, resource allocation, and pre-launch, potential launch, and post-launch priorities for essential tremor.

• Foster scientific exchange and external engagement concerning essential tremor, clinical data, treatment paradigms, and the therapeutic landscape.

• Assist in the organization of advisory boards, congresses, and scientific meetings.

• Identify and consolidate scientific questions, unmet needs, shifts in clinical practice, patient-care barriers, and other field insights.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access teams.

• Provide scientific and clinical context regarding disease burden, patient journeys, treatment pathways, evidence requirements, and access considerations.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, field effectiveness, launch readiness, and resource planning.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, company policies, and Praxis SOPs.

• Report directly to the Head of Field Medical Affairs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, RN, or equivalent).

• Prior experience as an MSL with proven success in field-based Medical Affairs.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to coach, develop, and hold a field-based team accountable while maintaining strong scientific credibility.

• Experience in neurology or CNS disorders is essential.

• Preferred background in movement disorders, particularly essential tremor or Parkinson’s disease.

• Prior experience in pre-launch and/or launch Medical Affairs is strongly preferred.

• Ability to quickly develop deep therapeutic expertise and translate complex scientific and clinical information into field strategy.

• Capacity to engage credibly with external experts.

• Strong strategic judgment, account planning, insight generation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience working with Market Access and understanding payer and access considerations is preferred.

• High level of ownership and comfort operating with autonomy and uncertainty in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to prioritize effectively and drive execution.

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and external scientific experts.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively based on business needs.

• Regular use of a computer, devices, or other office equipment, clear communication, occasional movement, comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and focus.
