This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide strategic guidance to support the development of clinically relevant educational content and ensure the effective utilization of clinical data to meet strategic brand goals.
• Independently create scientific content, including the analysis and interpretation of clinical data across various project types.
• Conduct literature reviews, actively track the competitive landscape, and perform competitive analyses.
• Build strong relationships with clients and actively participate in client meetings through collaboration.
• Work with internal teams to design symposia presentations, scientific narratives, messaging platforms, and engagement initiatives for healthcare professionals across both digital and print media.
• Collaborate with copy, art, and digital teams to develop interactive and engaging programs that utilize scientific storytelling and data visualization.
• Develop and present Intouch’s perspective and recommendations to clients.
• Educate team members on disease states, clinical trials, treatments, and competitive landscapes.
• Assist with client medical and regulatory approval submissions and incorporate feedback from clients and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the department and manage departmental staff.
• Interview, select, and supervise departmental personnel; communicate company policies and procedures.
• Set job objectives, work methods, and performance standards; evaluate employee performance.
• Authorize and communicate changes in salary, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and other personnel matters.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development, inclusive behavior, and proactive bias management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• An advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in a medical sciences-related field is required.
• Ideally, two or more years of agency experience in medical education, medical communications, and/or HCP marketing.
• A minimum of two years of medical writing experience is required.
• A strategic thinker who understands how to compellingly convey scientific narratives to differentiate client products.
• Proficiency in extracting pertinent information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate content.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Confidence in client-facing situations that fosters dialogue and strengthens agency-client relationships.
• Experience managing complex projects that require collaboration between internal and external teams, including key opinion leaders.
• Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA editorial style, and digital media.
• Oncology experience is preferred.
