This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with Creative, Account, and Planning teams to produce engaging medical content for both digital and print platforms.
• Discover new medical advancements and opportunities, leveraging disease state knowledge to enhance promotional initiatives.
• Evaluate clinical data, conduct literature reviews, attend medical conferences, and perform competitive assessments.
• Communicate and educate colleagues, healthcare professionals, and clients, including medical, legal, and regulatory teams.
• Work together to develop EVERSANA INTOUCH points of view and recommendations for clients.
• Ensure that medical communications and promotional materials meet or exceed the objectives set by the marketing team.
• Oversee the creation of clinically sound and engaging promotional and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) materials while effectively utilizing clinical data to achieve strategic brand goals.
• Enhance medical literacy within contributing agency teams and provide insights on disease states, clinical trials, treatments, and competition.
• Assist in the submission processes for client medical/regulatory approvals and help integrate client and regulatory feedback.
• Exhibit a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development, demonstrating inclusive behaviors, and proactively addressing bias.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.
• An M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an agency or pharmaceutical setting supporting scientific communications, medical affairs, or medical education.
• A passion for science, medicine, and innovation, along with a proven history of effectively communicating medical advancements to diverse audiences.
• Capability to lead and execute content development, including data analysis for a variety of complex projects with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency in independently and accurately integrating strategic concepts into projects, while guiding others to do the same.
• A solid understanding of clinical practice.
• Ability to conduct scientific literature searches.
• Talent for interpreting complex clinical data into engaging narratives.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficient presentation capabilities.
• A drive to foster relationships with clients and team members.
• A problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfort in leading client interactions and defending work and viewpoints.
• Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA style, and digital best practices.
• Willingness to travel is a requirement.
