This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recognize and respond to buying signals such as legislation, appropriations, grants, pre-RFPs, RFPs, and agency priorities.
• Convert policy and funding insights into effective sales strategies, encompassing timing, positioning, outreach, and targeted accounts.
• Deliver continuous insights on funding pathways, procurement trends, and competitor activities.
• Lead and develop BTA (lobbyist/advisory) and VC2P (board/advisory) channels to produce high-value introductions and a sourced pipeline.
• Maintain accountability across established governance, cadence, and performance expectations to drive results.
• Facilitate a "political sales" approach utilizing influence networks to enhance access and build trust.
• Transform introductions, insights, and funding signals into qualified opportunities and bookings.
• Guide early-stage shaping, positioning, and partner alignment throughout the proposal and award process.
• Collaborate with proposals and delivery teams to ensure competitive and compliant solutions.
• Utilize contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, TIPS, OMNIA) to streamline procurement and expedite deal closure.
• Collaborate across MGT (SIS, MC, TSG) to align solutions with client requirements and drive enterprise sales.
• Coordinate with Portfolio and Operating Group leadership on strategy, pursuits, and execution.
• Manage pipeline development, forecasting, and reporting within Salesforce to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Conduct bi-weekly/monthly channel meetings to monitor progress, refine strategy, and enhance performance.
• Act as a MGT leader for RHTP and expand into additional national programs and funding-driven opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business, Political Science, Healthcare, or a related field.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in public sector sales, government affairs, and public sector consulting.
• Familiarity with working alongside lobbyists, political consultants, and government stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to transform policy, funding insights, and relationships into pipeline and revenue.
• Experience with public sector procurement processes (RFPs, contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing).
• Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication capabilities.
• CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) with a focus on pipeline management and forecasting.
• Advanced degree (MPA, MBA, MPH, JD, or similar) is preferred.
• Background in healthcare or large-scale government-funded programs (e.g., Medicaid, rural health) is preferred.
• Experience in government relations, political consulting, or public service is preferred.
• Knowledge of channel-based or partner-driven sales models is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal/state funding mechanisms (grants, appropriations) is preferred.
• Experience in supporting complex, multi-stakeholder proposals and pursuits is preferred.
