This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead Amgen’s strategic initiatives and engagement efforts to revolutionize the approach employers take towards obesity treatment.
• Develop the Employer Access Strategy and outline a national plan to enhance employer coverage of GLP-1 therapies.
• Identify, categorize, and prioritize key employer stakeholders for customized engagement.
• Create employer-centric value propositions that effectively communicate clinical outcomes and economic benefits.
• Collaborate with HEOR teams to utilize outcomes data in supporting employer coverage decisions.
• Act as a principal market access leader facilitating launch planning and execution.
• Recruit an employer market account team and direct employer engagement priorities and communications.
• Build and sustain executive-level relationships with employers and benefit consultants.
• Oversee performance metrics in alignment with business objectives, key performance indicators, and coverage expansion goals.
• Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Payor OR Master's degree with 8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Payor OR Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Payor.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. market access, with significant experience in employer and/or payer engagement.
• Demonstrated success in influencing coverage, reimbursement, or benefit design decisions.
• Experience in supporting product launches or significant access turning points.
• Strong comprehension of obesity, cardiometabolic, or specialty market dynamics.
• Capability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, leading through influence.
• Executive presence with experience in engaging C-suite or senior external stakeholders.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
• Must possess leadership qualities with a proven track record of motivating and guiding cross-functional business initiatives.
