This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Direct the creation and implementation of a comprehensive multi-year strategy for manufacturing and supply chain that aligns with the organization's transformation objectives.
• Outline the modernization roadmap for the manufacturing network, incorporating advanced systems, automation, digital tools, and data-driven performance management.
• Assess and enhance the company’s manufacturing footprint, make-versus-buy decisions, and opportunities for vertical integration.
• Collaborate with the CMO, COO, and plant leadership to synchronize capital investments, technology enhancements, and workforce skills with strategic priorities.
• Act as a principal architect in the company’s operational transformation efforts.
• Design and implement impactful initiatives that improve manufacturing agility, flexibility, and scalability.
• Create governance and performance frameworks to monitor transformation progress and ensure alignment across the enterprise.
• Identify, assess, and pursue vertical integration opportunities throughout the manufacturing and supply chain landscape.
• Oversee operational due diligence for potential acquisitions, focusing on manufacturing efficiency, capacity, technology, and cost structures.
• Work in conjunction with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to evaluate potential acquisitions and formulate post-close integration strategies.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Manufacturing/Operations to establish the roadmap for next-generation manufacturing systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related technical field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing strategy, operational leadership, or transformation, preferably in industrial manufacturing, energy, or electrical equipment sectors.
• Proven experience in designing and executing modernization strategies for multi-site manufacturing or supply chains.
• Background in leading or supporting M&A activities, including vertical integration, operational diligence, and integration planning.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, digital operations, and capital investment planning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at the executive level.
