Director, M&A Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess the competitive environment and support the formulation and execution of EPWA's M&A strategic initiatives.

• Oversee and direct the entire mergers and acquisitions process from inception to conclusion.

• Manage the comprehensive sales and relationship management process for M&A opportunities, fostering trusted connections with business owners, executives, intermediaries, and strategic partners while driving deal origination, client engagement, and transaction momentum.

• Conduct various financial analyses and due diligence on prospective acquisition targets.

• Aid in negotiating deal conditions and structuring agreements.

• Create investment presentations that encapsulate conclusions and recommendations for Executive Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, ideally within Corporate Development, Investment Banking, and/or the Private Equity sector.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Strong financial insight with a thorough understanding of valuation methods, financial modeling, return analysis, and deal structuring.

• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills with prospects, internal stakeholders, and third parties.
