This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a group of clients while ensuring that account team recommendations align with client objectives.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal leadership to manage escalations and resolve issues effectively.
• Identify high-value opportunities to engage, connect, and meet with key client stakeholders.
• Oversee the onboarding, offboarding, and transitions of client accounts.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient execution of Email & SMS operations requirements, including tracking and deliverability.
• Work alongside other agency teams to offer top-tier client guidance.
• Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and evaluations for team members.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to support team members in achieving their goals and completing tasks.
• Manage client relationships, product delivery, team development, and career progression.
• Collaborate with Pod Leaders and Directors to meet financial targets and oversee staffing, allocations, and client margins.
• Stay informed on industry, consumer, platform, and vertical trends.
• Implement innovative tactics and technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Develop thought leadership initiatives for the channel and the Email & SMS team.
• Create client education strategies focused on advanced Email & SMS techniques.
• Apply insights from market developments, emerging trends, and industry best practices to client strategies.
• Oversee the integration and optimization of Email, SMS, in-app, push, and various lifecycle marketing channels.
• Enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value through comprehensive, data-driven strategies.
• 10+ years of experience in Email & SMS Marketing roles.
• Proven history of executing successful marketing campaigns.
• 3–4 years of experience in a management position.
• Proficiency in at least one Email Service Provider (ESP), one SMS Provider (SMP), and overlay/real-time content/onsite messaging vendors.
• Experience with Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, or SFMC is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and utilize analytics tools to inform marketing decisions.
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively across clients, partner relationships, and internal initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both external and internal teams.
