Director, Legal Strategic Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as the main legal partner for the Strategic Alliances team, managing the structuring, negotiation, and completion of intricate strategic partnership agreements from start to finish.

• Provide guidance on complex commercial arrangements and assist the business in understanding how to structure deals effectively.

• Collaborate closely with other teams in the Legal department to standardize partnership legal work into reusable templates.

• Work in conjunction with various teams within the Legal department on transactions that span multiple teams.

• Develop go-to-market legal documentation for strategic partnerships.

• Keep track of legal and regulatory changes relevant to the partner ecosystem and proactively offer advice to the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of pertinent legal experience, either in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both.

• Extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex commercial partnership and alliance agreements.

• Proven track record as the lead legal partner for a strategic alliances and business development team.

• In-depth understanding of technology partnership deal structures.

• Capability to manage complex deals independently from beginning to end.

• Experience providing counsel to business teams that are establishing new functions.

• Strong commercial mindset.

• Verified history of integrating AI tools into everyday legal practices.

• Familiarity with the evolving AI and privacy regulatory framework.

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
