
Director, Learning Strategy and Sales Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the enterprise learning and performance strategy to align with business objectives.
• Work collaboratively with brand leadership, operations, and cross-functional teams to pinpoint capability gaps that affect revenue growth, operational efficiency, and franchisee success.
• Spearhead franchise capability and revenue performance strategies that enhance the adoption of key business initiatives by improving membership conversion, retention, rebooking, revenue per visit, and overall studio performance.
• Assist franchisees and operational leaders by delivering data-driven insights to ensure financial targets, expense control, and KPIs are achieved.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to uncover opportunities for enhancing studio-level profitability and overall system growth.
• Direct the strategy and creation of training programs that align with business goals to achieve quantifiable performance enhancements.
• Create and implement curricula and instructional tools focused on: Financial performance management (P&L, expense ratios, COGS, labor optimization).
• Membership conversion, lead generation, and customer retention strategies.
• Operational excellence and execution of brand standards.
• Oversee the development of scalable learning programs, tools, and resources for both internal and franchisee audiences by guiding and developing team members, collaborating with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts, while contributing to content creation and program design as necessary.
• Lead the strategic direction, governance, and optimization of the LMS framework.
• Ensure that learning platform(s) effectively support franchise operations, innovation rollouts, compliance needs, and location-level development.
• Manage vendor relationships and plan the platform roadmap to enhance user experience, engagement, utilization, and business impact.
• Set standards for learning structure, content organization, and learner pathways across all brands.
• Collaborate with operational teams and franchisees to ensure strategies, tools, and training materials are effectively implemented across all brands and markets; this may include virtual or in-person facilitation, with or without operational partners.
• Assess the impact of tools and training programs using KPIs such as revenue growth, behavioral change, and operational enhancements.
• Continuously improve programs, materials, and processes based on performance data, feedback, and evolving business needs.
• Promote the adoption of established best practices to ensure franchisees meet revenue and performance targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, fostering accountability, professional development, and high performance.
• Establish priorities and allocate resources to ensure the successful implementation of learning, LMS, and sales performance initiatives.
• Conduct performance management activities, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by supervisors and department heads.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in multi-unit operations, learning and development, revenue enablement, franchise support, or business performance leadership roles is required.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing scalable operational tools, training programs, and business strategies that yield measurable business performance and operational outcomes.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with experience in KPIs, revenue metrics, labor management, conversion performance, customer retention, and profitability drivers.
• Experience in facilitating training and presenting to diverse audiences, including operators, franchisees, and leadership teams, in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and execution capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven track record of managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), both as a user and administrator.
• Ability to connect specific brand/department opportunities with platform capabilities and integrate ideas/needs from various stakeholders into solutions that enhance the WellBiz platform.
