This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Lead the Learning team at Affirm by crafting an impactful strategy and overseeing the design and implementation of solutions that enhance individual, team, and leadership capabilities in alignment with our high-performance culture.
• Collaborate closely with members of the People team, business stakeholders, and leaders to ensure that the strategy, initiatives, and programs are well-defined, understood, and embraced throughout the organization, fostering consistency, continuous improvement, and a sustainable competitive edge.
• Partner with other teams across the organization, such as Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness, to promote future programming and opportunities that enhance employee capabilities and readiness. This includes working alongside subject matter experts within Affirm to develop new resources and experiences.
• Develop engaging communications, engagement strategies, and additional internal content to support change management efforts aligned with our People & Organizational Success strategy.
• Establish, assess, and share relevant success metrics with stakeholders throughout the business, showcasing the value of Learning programs, experiences, and investments in our workforce.
• You have designed and implemented a comprehensive learning and development strategy, scaling solutions within an organization with a growing global workforce of over 2,500 employees.
• 15+ years of experience demonstrating a blend of learning and leadership development, team leadership, design thinking, experiential learning, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, employing a data-driven and evidence-based approach to decision-making and influence.
• Innovative in learning modalities and learner experiences, including micro-learning, virtual learning environments, user journeys, and learning analytics.
• Experience in managing learning technology platforms, including collaborating with People Tech teams and vendors to advance products and systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information to focus on what is most important. Clarity is key.
• A mindset oriented towards improvement, always asking, “how can we enhance this?” You understand that “perfect” is not a final destination and continuously strive for betterment.
