This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Establish and oversee the national strategy and operational standards for the launch readiness of key U.S. vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
• Define, uphold, and manage comprehensive launch readiness standards, success metrics, and policy-related expectations for Vaccines Field Medical.
• Act as the escalation point for risks and access issues driven by policy that could affect launch schedules, adoption rates, or sustainability.
• Collaborate with HQ Brand Medical leaders and cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Operations, Medical Analytics, and leadership from Vaccines Field Medical.
• Provide strategic oversight and direction for the readiness and execution of Pre‑Approval Information Exchange (PIE).
• Utilize medical insights, analytics, and engagement data at the enterprise level to continually enhance launch preparedness frameworks.
• Offer strategic guidance for the creation and implementation of training, playbooks, and materials to ensure field readiness for launches.
• Ensure that scalable, repeatable, and policy-integrated approaches to launch preparedness are consistently applied across both pipeline and existing products.
• Establish national strategic direction for field medical policy and advocacy engagement models.
• Provide enterprise-level oversight and support for field medical interactions with key medical societies.
• Lead and influence enterprise field medical engagement with national organizations.
• Apply extensive knowledge of ACIP processes, governance within medical societies, payer coverage dynamics, and state regulatory environments.
• MD/DO degree is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of operating with enterprise or national accountability and influencing outcomes in complex, matrixed environments.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. vaccine policy, ACIP procedures, medical society engagement, and payer coverage landscapes.
• Demonstrated capability to lead intricate, high-profile, and policy-sensitive initiatives through influence and governance, without direct management responsibilities.
• Experience acting as a strategic advisor to senior and executive leadership, including stakeholders at the VP level.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complex scenarios into clear enterprise direction and executable standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a history of successfully engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
