This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assisting LivaNova in defining and strategizing work processes.
• Leading the planning of LivaNova's workforce and enhancing operational methods.
• Emphasizing strategic workforce planning, skills-oriented approaches, and internal mobility to enhance capability, productivity, and decision-making quality, while promoting AI-driven work redesign.
• Developing tools and frameworks that support our leaders and business partners in crafting proactive workforce strategies that align with business priorities, converting strategy into capabilities, essential roles, and workforce composition decisions.
• Establishing and integrating strategic workforce planning in line with business objectives.
• Converting strategy into essential roles, capabilities, workforce composition, and scenarios.
• Creating scenarios for growth, productivity, automation, and capability transitions.
• Assisting in workforce decisions regarding build, buy, borrow, and bot strategies.
• Linking workforce data and talent intelligence to enhance business decisions.
• Anticipating future talent shortages through agile workforce planning.
• Training people managers on optimizing their teams for maximum productivity, utilizing technology to enhance engagement and efficiency.
• Promoting skills-based planning to provide better visibility into capabilities, gaps, and related areas.
• Leveraging skills data to inform workforce decisions, internal mobility, and workforce adaptability.
• Facilitating a transition from rigid job structures to more flexible, capability-oriented models.
• Enhancing work structuring through AI, automation, and digital tools.
• Assisting teams in redesigning roles and workflows to effectively integrate human and digital work into a unified system.
• Advising leaders on workforce ramifications concerning AI, automation, growth, and organizational changes.
• Aiding the incorporation of workforce planning into business planning and governance cycles.
• 10–15+ years of experience in workforce strategy, organizational development, HR strategy, or related disciplines.
• Preferred experience in medtech, pharma, health tech, or similarly intricate environments.
• Expertise in strategic workforce planning.
• Proficiency in scenario planning and decision support methodologies.
• Knowledge of organizational design, operating models, or workforce effectiveness.
• Understanding of AI, automation, or digital influences on work design.
• Proven enthusiasm for AI as a tech-savvy expert merging business acumen with technical AI proficiency, including coding, development, and system design skills, enabling rapid translation of business challenges into actionable AI solutions.
• Familiarity with skills-based workforce or talent management practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
• A Master's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Background in consulting, workforce strategy, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience with workforce planning, analytics, or skills platforms.
