
Director, Large Fleet and Sharing Economy Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the claims strategy in alignment with divisional objectives.
• Supervise daily operational performance of Large Fleet claims programs.
• Provide oversight authority for TPAs and other claim partners managing Large Fleet losses.
• Engage in the evaluation, monitoring, and periodic auditing of TPA performance.
• Review and assess claims that surpass adjuster or TPA authority limits.
• Assist in formulating litigation management strategies for assigned losses.
• Offer technical guidance to internal stakeholders and TPA teams regarding complex and high-severity claims.
• Establish, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics for Large Fleet claims programs.
• Identify loss trends and relay observations to underwriting, product, and actuarial partners as necessary.
• Ensure that risks associated with business operations are effectively recognized, measured, monitored, and controlled.
• Assume responsibility for service, loss control, and loss adjustment expenses.
• Aid in the preparation of program reports for quarterly business reviews and partner meetings.
• Collaborate with internal partners on process enhancements, product feedback, and operational improvements.
• Participate in client and account review meetings to provide claims expertise and program insights.
• Identify training needs and assist in developing resources for claims staff and TPA personnel.
• Drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across the Large Fleet claims program.
• Foster a culture of high-quality service, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in Large Fleet, Commercial Auto, or Transportation sectors.
• A minimum of five years in a leadership role within Claims is preferred; positions such as Supervisor, Manager, or Director.
• Experience managing or overseeing rideshare programs, large fleets, commercial transportation, and sharing economy insurance programs.
• Ability to acquire and maintain necessary state adjuster licenses.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong claim analytics, presentation skills, and demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in using, interpreting, and leading with data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
• High integrity, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Occasional travel may be required.
