This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee Instructure's communication strategy across prominent markets in EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
• Craft the communications narrative and messaging pillars, implementing them throughout international markets.
• Merge public relations and communications with established marketing strategies, while innovating new methods to engage each market from a PR and communications standpoint.
• Responsible to region-specific marketing leaders to incorporate communication campaigns and strategies that align with their strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with international spokespeople and regional teams to identify industry trends and establish thought leadership.
• Utilize byline articles and interviews to convey core messages and enhance customer stories in key markets.
• Localize and manage the distribution of global announcements.
• Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, market research analysts, and influencers.
• Advise international spokespeople on proactive and reactive crisis management and issue response.
• Work with PR agencies and initiate outreach independently to secure media placements in trade, general, and business press.
• Collaborate with the international editorial team and oversee the regional press and media resources sections on the Instructure website.
• Generate quarterly share of voice and earned media reports.
• Draft, monitor, and assess OKR (Objectives, Key Results) progress throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in corporate communications, strategic communications, public relations, or analyst relations, including senior leadership positions.
• Complete fluency and a strong command of English are essential. You will lead all meetings, communications, strategic plans, and messaging primarily in English.
• A proactive self-starter who effectively integrates PR and communications into existing marketing strategies and devises innovative methods to engage the market.
• Demonstrated success in establishing and managing communications programs across EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pacific markets.
• Extensive expertise in public relations, social media, and message development.
• Strong collaborative skills, with the capacity to work within a highly matrixed organization and drive tangible business results.
• Excellent communicator who articulates complex ideas and data clearly in both written and spoken formats for diverse audiences.
• Cross-functional leadership abilities, with the discernment to set strategy and the readiness to execute when required.
• Highly motivated and adaptable to evolving market and organizational demands.
• Proven ability to organize initiatives into clear documentation and create systems that prioritize and address a wide array of tasks.
• Experience managing crisis and issues in international markets.
• Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
