Director – Industrial and Commercial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver market insights regarding acquisition targets, competitive dynamics, and valuation context within your specific sector.

• Facilitate introductions to founders, family business owners, and senior executives within your established network.

• Analyze confidential information memorandums and management presentations to assess sector-specific operational compatibility and risks.

• Engage in private equity sponsor presentations when your sector and operational expertise are pertinent.

• Contribute operational due diligence perspectives on targeted companies.

• Counsel the Fireclay team on strategic positioning and messaging for sponsor outreach and sourcing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a CEO, COO, or Division President in a private equity-backed services roll-up, multi-location services platform, or major regional service provider.

• A minimum of fifteen years in developing and managing multi-location service enterprises, with hands-on experience in integrating bolt-on acquisitions.

• Proficient understanding of technician recruitment and retention, dispatching and routing systems, and the unit economics that influence successful acquisitions.

• Established network of connections with founders, family-owned businesses, senior executives, and private equity professionals within your sector.

• Ability to represent Fireclay in a professional manner to private equity sponsors and management of target companies.

• Discretion in managing confidential information and competitive intelligence.

• Openness to working on a flexible, per-engagement basis without fixed hours or obligations.
