This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement multi-year strategies for categories that are aligned with enterprise objectives and functional priorities.
• Manage strategic sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and performance enhancement across indirect spend categories.
• Lead a team of three category managers while effectively influencing regional and functional stakeholders across various plants and business units.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, Operations, and Plant leaders to ensure procurement strategies meet business requirements.
• Develop sourcing pipelines based on demand forecasting, total cost of ownership analysis, and market insights.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management as part of the procurement transformation strategy.
• Achieve year-over-year savings goals through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and effective demand management.
• Oversee supplier risk management, continuity, and performance for essential services and capital projects.
• Create supplier segmentation models and governance frameworks for critical supplier relationships.
• Implement and enhance procurement processes, KPIs, and compliance across various categories and regions.
• Advocate for digital procurement tools to enhance visibility, sourcing speed, and data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor procurement KPIs such as spend under management, savings realized, contract coverage, supplier performance, sourcing cycle time, stakeholder satisfaction, and automation adoption.
• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or a relevant Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in global indirect procurement.
• Proven track record in managing a variety of indirect categories, including MRO, CapEx, IT, and Facilities within a manufacturing or chemicals environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, engaging stakeholders, and achieving measurable savings and performance enhancements.
• Proficient in sourcing strategy, supplier management, contracting, and digital procurement solutions.
• Experience with Coupa is preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Proven history of influencing and aligning with senior leadership in matrixed global organizations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required.
• Authorization for periodic background checks as mandated by CFATS or relevant regulations.
