This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee IFG’s sales compliance strategy and governance initiatives.
• Provide leadership and supervision for compliance teams tasked with agent and agency monitoring, auditing, and adherence to regulations.
• Act as the main liaison between IFG, carrier partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and sustain policies, procedures, and controls that facilitate compliant sales operations.
• Lead compliance investigations and manage corrective action plans.
• Escalate emerging compliance issues internally and externally as necessary.
• Direct ongoing monitoring and auditing efforts to identify compliance risks and trends.
• Assess agent and agency sales practices for compliance with regulatory and carrier standards.
• Perform risk assessments and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate compliance metrics, KPIs, and reporting trends to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, legal teams, carrier partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Advocate for ethical sales practices while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and business operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of CMS regulations, Medicare Advantage, Medicare marketing guidelines, Medicaid, HIPAA, and insurance compliance standards.
• Experience collaborating with regulatory agencies and carrier partners.
• Background in conducting compliance audits.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change across various business functions.
• Dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Home internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance sales operations, distribution channels, and agent oversight programs is preferred.
