Director, Human Resources Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership for the HR Service Center

• Manage and enhance the HR Service Center team

• Drive operational excellence within key HR functions

• Act as a subject matter expert in HR policies, compliance with employment laws, and employee relations

• Lead initiatives for performance management programs

• Oversee the administration of onboarding and offboarding processes

• Coordinate workforce reductions as needed

• Ensure support to employees and managers is timely, accurate, and compliant

• Collaborate closely with HR leadership and internal stakeholders

• Implement departmental strategies and track key performance metrics

• Continuously enhance HR processes and documentation

• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members

• Train, support, and mentor HR personnel

• Work in partnership with Education & Development on career advancement programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

• At least 5 years of management experience within a Human Resources department

• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is preferred

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively

• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

• Comprehensive understanding of employment-related laws and regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

• Proficient with or capable of quickly mastering the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems

• Familiarity with principles and methods for curriculum design, instructional delivery, and training evaluation

• Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
