Director – Health, Safety & Environment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Initiate, develop, and secure significant, intricate Health, Safety & Environment consulting projects with multinational and upper mid-market clients throughout Germany and the EMEA region.

• Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with C-suite executives and senior operational leaders.

• Propel revenue growth by achieving ambitious individual and practice-level objectives.

• Work closely with J.S. Held’s global practices to foster cross-border and cross-disciplinary opportunities.

• Represent J.S. Held at industry forums, conferences, and client events across Germany and European markets.

• Serve as the engagement lead and senior advisor on complex, high-risk, and high-profile Health, Safety & Environment projects across Germany.

• Offer comprehensive HSE leadership and strategic guidance throughout the entire HSE lifecycle, encompassing Health & Safety and Environmental strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in HSE consulting within a professional services or advisory context.

• Proven track record as a seller-doer, consistently originating, developing, and successfully converting new business opportunities.

• Experience at the Partner, Director, or Principal level, with responsibility for both revenue growth and client delivery.

• Strong commercial insight, with the capability to balance business expansion, technical quality, and delivery excellence.

• Demonstrated experience advising multinational clients and leading cross-border engagements.

• Established credibility as an industry leader or subject matter expert, evidenced through client relationships, professional affiliations, publications, and speaking engagements.

• Proficient in both German and English, with the ability to engage confidently at executive, client, and regulatory levels.
