This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a representative of the HEOR team within Medical Strategy Teams, contributing to the formulation of medical and HEOR strategies that showcase product value to payers, clinical decision-makers, and patients.
• Proactively develop and relay evidence essential for enhancing patient access and demonstrating the value of Novartis products in the US market.
• Demonstrate medical leadership by aligning strategically with other areas and proactively suggesting innovative and impactful ideas within cross-functional teams.
• Oversee multiple HEOR projects, managing related budgets and collaborations with external and internal partners, while ensuring a high standard of scientific rigor and stakeholder alignment.
• Establish strong external partnerships at both institutional and individual levels as necessary.
• Effectively convey significant research findings to a variety of audiences.
• Publish and present significant research findings at scientific conferences and forums.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders at both strategic and tactical levels to develop research partnerships; generate and distribute robust HEOR findings to support external stakeholders, including SOCs and payers.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency, streamline tasks, create content, and aid in decision-making, demonstrating practical proficiency in prompting, interpreting, and refining AI outputs to elevate work quality and efficiency.
• An advanced degree (Master’s or doctorate) in health economics, statistics, epidemiology, health policy, or a related field is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably within health economics, market access, or related functions/fields is essential.
• Significant experience in shaping HEOR and RWE strategy, along with hands-on execution supporting both inline and pipeline products is required.
• Candidates must have consistently demonstrated the ability to lead, execute, and foster excellence in cross-functional teams both within their direct area of responsibility and across the organization.
• Expert knowledge in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, and Real-World Evidence, including study design, methodologies, modeling, data sources, and analyses is required.
• In-depth understanding of the US healthcare financing and delivery system, the US payer landscape, emerging trends, and the competitive environment is essential.
