Director – Head of Editorial & Content

📋 Description

• Develop the global editorial strategy to establish Agility Robotics as a leading authority in humanoid robotics, the future of physical labor, and large-scale technology deployment.

• Create a prominent media presence across owned websites and digital platforms.

• Convert intricate technical ideas into compelling content that highlights humanoid technology and Agility's unique advantages.

• Foster cross-functional relationships with internal experts, external consultants, strategic partners, and suppliers to uncover insights and narrative opportunities.

• Write, edit, and supervise the production of written, video, and audio content, including essays, technical explainers, customer case studies, clips, newsletters, and industry reports.

• Manage the content calendar and collaborate with Creative, Communications, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing teams across social media, video, podcasts, newsrooms, and customer channels.

• Employ AI-assisted editorial research, production, and distribution workflows.

• Recruit, oversee, and mentor content strategists and creatives, with support from external contributors.

• Establish success metrics, conduct optimization tests, and provide reports on outcomes and future actions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in editorial leadership.

• A proven history of leading an in-house editorial team at a tech firm that values content as a product or at a media/tech publication.

• Outstanding editorial taste and judgment.

• Strong reporter instincts with a high level of technical fluency.

• Capability to integrate AI into the editorial workflow without over-dependence or compromising quality.

• Expertise in modern content ecosystems, including web, newsletters, social media, video, and distribution channels.

• Experience in shaping an editorial function, introducing efficient processes, managing freelance networks, and maintaining a high publication schedule under tight deadlines.

• Ability to prioritize effectively and provide structure and clarity for teams.
