This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, demand generation, and customer retention for Activate corporate stores, ensuring that all marketing efforts are directly linked to revenue objectives.
• Develop and spearhead the growth strategy and demand plan, with detailed execution plans that align with store, regional, and overall AGS revenue targets.
• Convert AGI’s national brand and product initiatives into store-level bookings, adjusting strategies based on local performance, customer behavior, and market opportunities.
• Analyze trends in demand generation, loyalty, retention, and churn to pinpoint opportunities that enhance repeat visits, lower customer acquisition costs, and boost customer lifetime value.
• Track store and regional performance trends, identify actions to maintain strong markets, uplift struggling markets, and ensure consistent revenue growth throughout the portfolio.
• Make data-driven decisions across channels, programs, and audiences to optimize investments, growth impact, and customer engagement.
• Utilize customer behavior insights and operational opportunities to increase bookings during off-peak times and enhance retention strategies.
• Take ownership of the store growth, revenue, and P&L investment plan, ensuring that marketing expenditures and priorities align with measurable revenue outcomes.
• Create and manage the 12-month operational plan and 3-year roadmap, aligning growth initiatives with projected demand, revenue goals, and business priorities.
• Collaborate on the budgeting process to prioritize initiatives and investments that foster growth, retention, and store performance objectives.
• Establish a regular planning cadence—weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually—with clear visibility into how stores and regions are performing against the plan.
• Define and evaluate program success, utilizing performance data to refine strategies, adjust budget recommendations, and optimize channel investments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the CRM Specialist and Paid Digital Specialist, providing clear guidance, prioritization, and support to enhance team performance.
• Remain closely involved with operations and intervene when necessary to eliminate obstacles, accelerate execution, and support high-impact initiatives.
• Scale the team's capabilities over time by enhancing systems, tools, workflows, and the practical application of AI within the marketing function.
• Represent growth marketing as part of the AGS leadership team, ensuring that priorities, performance insights, and opportunities are clearly communicated.
• Collaborate with the AGI corporate marketing team on national campaigns, brand standards, product launches, and market activation strategies.
• Work alongside the Director of Communications, PR & Influencer on initiatives aimed at bolstering demand in underperforming markets while maintaining momentum in top-performing stores.
• Over 10 years of experience in growth and performance marketing leadership within multi-unit consumer brands, including retail, restaurants, entertainment, or fitness.
• Proficient in various platforms and systems to lead the work credibly and hands-on when necessary (e.g., Meta, Google, Braze).
• Experience leading a growth/performance function comprehensively—covering paid media, lifecycle, and CRM.
• Proven track record in building and leading a marketing team with a hands-on approach.
• Managed a marketing P&L at scale with a commitment to achieving revenue targets.
• Established marketing planning and operating rhythms from scratch in a growth-stage company.
• Strong analytical skills in measurement—able to scrutinize attribution and identify discrepancies in data.
• Utilized AI to significantly enhance the output of the marketing function.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing programs and cultivating a collaborative work environment.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating engaging content and effectively delivering key messages.
