This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Spearhead the growth strategy for both group and individual insurance segments, incorporating the expansion of voluntary benefits within a comprehensive portfolio.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to create and launch innovative products and enhancements.
• Identify and seek out new growth prospects across various markets, products, and distribution channels.
• Build, enhance, and optimize distribution partnerships and channels to broaden reach and improve performance.
• Formulate and execute strategies to cross-sell and strengthen relationships with current clients.
• Anticipate and address the changing needs of plan sponsors, customers, and distribution partners.
• Deliver market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance evaluations to guide strategic choices.
• Ensure that all initiatives comply with regulatory standards and adhere to industry best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of group insurance within the Canadian market.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in the insurance sector, including leadership positions focused on growth, distribution, or commercial strategy.
• Demonstrated capability to lead through influence and achieve results across product, marketing, and sales functions.
• Proven success in establishing and managing distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
• Experience in converting market insights into actionable growth strategies and product development opportunities.
• Proficient in influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, capable of developing and scaling a new or evolving line of business.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Possession of a Life license (LLQP) or a willingness to obtain one.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to effectively serve our customers and engage with internal stakeholders.
• Bilingualism in English and French is considered a valuable asset.
