Director, Global Talent Acquisition – Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy and streamlined process aimed at attracting top-tier talent who resonate with our core values and overall mission.

• Define clear roles and responsibilities within the talent acquisition framework, including positions within both the hiring and HR teams, and provide appropriate training to team members.

• Manage the entire recruitment cycle, ensuring effective sourcing, attraction, and onboarding of premier talent worldwide while delivering a smooth and positive experience for candidates.

• Directly oversee the recruitment for critical positions as designated by the SVP, P&C, with minimal supervision.

• Conduct regular audits and propose enhancements to our talent acquisition processes to ensure they are effective and in line with industry best practices.

• Develop and enhance the organization’s employer brand to attract a diverse range of talent by utilizing various platforms such as our website, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and social media tools as necessary.

• Assist in the workforce planning process related to talent acquisition, providing insights regarding hiring timelines, complexities, and priorities; create a recruiting roadmap for the year to effectively address hiring requirements.

• Accountable for consolidating and delivering quarterly personnel updates to the Finance team for budget management purposes.

• Collaborate with the Sr. Director, P&C to manage internal compensation structures and benefits, ensuring alignment with external talent market conditions.

• Work alongside the SVP, P&C on talent management initiatives such as succession planning, developing internal successors, and nurturing high-potential talent.

• Review and recommend modifications to current performance management philosophies, practices, and systems to foster a strong feedback culture and elevate performance standards and expectations.

• Expand the learning and development function, utilizing existing policies and practices, with a focus on career advancement and fostering a culture of excellence.

• Collaborate with the P&C team and Executive Leadership Team to create a data dashboard that monitors key HR metrics to enhance decision-making regarding hiring, retention, and talent rewards.

• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and change management related to the implementation of revised or new talent management practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role within a nonprofit or technology-focused organization is required.

• Over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and executive search, demonstrating a successful track record in leading global recruitment efforts.

• Strong understanding of talent management and the employee life cycle.

• At least 5 years of experience supporting talent management and the employee lifecycle in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role.

• High level of proficiency in working with and managing HR systems, including but not limited to HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Performance Management Systems (PMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Employer of Record/Professional Employment Organization Systems/Portals.

• Experience using cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft 360, Outlook, Slack, Zoom, Box, etc.
