This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of regional and senior account managers across various geographies, promoting a culture of accountability, customer focus, and ongoing development.
• Own the strategy for global account management, encompassing retention objectives, net revenue retention (NRR), upsell/cross-sell playbooks, engagement rules with Sales, and executive relationship initiatives.
• Act as an executive sponsor for a selected group of strategic global accounts, establishing strong relationships with C-suite and VP-level executives in collaboration with Sales.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from the initial sale through renewal and expansion.
• Create and execute scalable processes, tools, and frameworks that enhance account health, boost customer lifetime value, and minimize churn.
• Evaluate account performance data and market trends to guide strategy, identify risks early, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to guarantee uniformity in the execution of account management practices across diverse global markets and customer segments.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for product enhancements and service improvements based on client feedback.
• Prepare and deliver regular business reviews (QBRs/EBRs) at the executive level, both internally and with important client stakeholders.
• Enhance forecasting accuracy and pipeline transparency for renewal and expansion revenue.
• Over 8 years of experience in account management, customer success, or enterprise sales, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership position managing global or multi-regional teams.
• Proven success in achieving or surpassing NRR, retention, and expansion goals in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong executive presence with a demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with C-suite executives.
• Experience managing large, intricate enterprise accounts across various industries and geographies.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, adept at influencing without authority across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
• Data-driven approach with expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and experience utilizing analytics to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed (up to 20%).
• Experience in logistics or global supply chain management is a significant advantage.
