Director – Finance Program & Change Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead finance program and change management initiatives for transformative projects.

• Collaborate with Finance executive leadership to strategize, prioritize, implement, and monitor initiatives that align with the Finance Controller’s Office objectives and institutional mission.

• Create and manage program structures, encompassing charters, scope, organizational design, schedules, and budgets.

• Allocate or acquire necessary resources to facilitate execution.

• Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Track and report on program and project performance, including schedules, budgets, risks, and benefits outcomes.

• Supervise communications, training, and readiness initiatives related to program and project advancements.

• Build and nurture a high-performing team by clearly articulating a vision for the future of finance program and change management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Eight (8) years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in program management, project management, change management, or business transformation leadership.

• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional programs with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and achieving measurable business results.

• Experience in developing and implementing organizational change management strategies, including stakeholder impact assessments, communications, training, readiness activities, and adoption metrics.

• Preferred experience in finance, ERP, or business transformation within a complex healthcare, academic medical center, or similarly structured environment.

• Project management certification, such as PMP, is mandatory.

• Agile certification, such as Certified Scrum Master, is required.

• Change management certification, such as Prosci, CCMP, or an equivalent, is preferred.
