This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial strategies.
• Create financial reporting and trend analysis packages for executive leadership.
• Track business performance metrics and relay risks, opportunities, and financial trends.
• Evaluate discrepancies between actual and projected results.
• Construct financial models to assess profitability, operational efficiency, and investment prospects.
• Aid in achieving both short-term and long-term financial goals.
• Collaborate with segment presidents, vice presidents, and business leaders on financial performance and strategic plans.
• Offer financial and operational insights to support decision-making within the organization.
• Assist in preparing materials for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors presentations.
• Present financial outcomes and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
• Provide support for mergers and acquisitions activities, including financial integration, reporting, and forecasting.
• Develop and sustain cost models for business, departmental, and product profitability assessments.
• Oversee global budgeting processes and conduct budget-to-actual performance reviews.
• Facilitate capital expenditure forecasting and reporting, including investments in software development.
• Prepare ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed.
• Coordinate with both internal and external audit teams.
• Support the formulation of financial policies, controls, and procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.
• Set performance expectations and carry out evaluations.
• Provide guidance and career development opportunities for direct reports.
• Assist with the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or similar finance leadership positions.
• 10+ years of experience in people leadership and supervisory roles.
• Strong skills in analytical thinking, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Proven experience presenting financial data to executive teams and business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced business degree is preferred.
• Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations is preferred.
• Familiarity with capitalized software accounting guidance is preferred.
• Understanding of software licensing models and related accounting principles is preferred.
• Experience in supporting software development organizations and technology-driven businesses is preferred.
• Experience with foreign currency accounting and multinational financial operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in managing large and complex datasets is preferred.
• Background in healthcare, clinical research, technology, life sciences, or regulated industries is preferred.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations is preferred.
