Director, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the fundamental FP&A operations for Brightside Health.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and conduct monthly forecast evaluations.

• Participate in due diligence efforts for new business ventures and acquisitions.

• Manage and nurture a high-performing team of two.

• Collaborate with different departments to enhance and standardize financial processes.

• Ensure accurate filing systems for financial documents and statements are maintained.

• Assist in implementing updates to policies, procedures, and standardized reporting.

• Supervise the preparation of board materials, financial analyses, and executive summaries.

• Guarantee compliance of all financial operations with internal controls and industry regulations.

• Develop scalable financial infrastructure, processes, and reporting systems to facilitate ongoing company growth.

• Aid leadership in understanding the financial ramifications of strategic decisions.

• Convert complex financial data into understandable insights.

• Report directly to the CFO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant finance experience with responsibilities in budgeting and forecasting.

• Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and analytical reporting.

• Capacity to convert financial data into insights suitable for executive-level decision-making.

• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Detail-oriented with a strong dedication to accuracy and process enhancement.

• Proven leadership skills in managing teams and aligning stakeholders towards common financial goals.
