Director, Field Medical Affairs – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Leading the medical oncology field team throughout France

• Mentoring direct reports through field visits and one-on-one discussions

• Recruiting, training, and nurturing team members for effective execution

• Overseeing compliant medical initiatives, field activities, and performance metrics

• Aiding clinical development by identifying sites and engaging investigators

• Coordinating support for IIS proposals, AOIs, and potential EAP initiatives

• Collaborating with Medical Directors on congresses, symposia, and advisory boards

• Providing field medical insights to support launch readiness, market access, and lifecycle strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, MD, DVM, or an equivalent qualification

• Over 7 years of pertinent Medical Affairs Oncology experience

• Background as a Field Medical Manager in the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors focused on oncology, particularly lung and skin cancer

• Strong understanding of in-country Medical Affairs and Clinical Development

• Comprehensive knowledge of the local healthcare landscape

• Experience throughout the product lifecycle development

• Proficiency in English

• Willingness to travel 30–50%
