This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop and execute field marketing and brand activation strategies, taking full responsibility for regional performance metrics, including volume, market share, retail execution, and profitability.
• Set strategic objectives and targets for the Field Marketing team by utilizing market trends, customer insights, and organizational goals.
• Establish success metrics, monitor regional performance, and proactively adjust plans to address any gaps.
• Oversee field-level activation strategies and provide final recommendations on prioritization, scale, and execution.
• Facilitate the rapid development and deployment of market plans with ongoing in-market iterations.
• Convert national brand and innovation priorities into market-specific, distributor-ready plans.
• Review and evaluate team plans in collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership.
• Define and prioritize field marketing initiatives by region based on anticipated business impact.
• Create and implement regional marketing plans covering programming, POS, sponsorships, trade shows, and sampling.
• Lead collaborative commercial planning efforts with regional sales leadership.
• Build and manage a high-performing field marketing team through effective performance management and coaching.
• Serve as a data-driven strategic advisor on market opportunities, risks, and necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the field marketing budget, allocate resources, monitor ROI, and enhance performance.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• 8+ years of experience in field marketing, retail/channel marketing, or a related field, preferably within the beverage alcohol or three-tier distribution sector.
• 4+ years of experience in direct people management.
• Proven ability to quickly and independently localize national programs into market-specific plans, with examples of distributor-facing deliverables.
• Demonstrated capability to operate autonomously in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, consistently delivering high-quality results with urgency.
• Proven track record of proactively identifying opportunities, addressing problems, and contributing a clear perspective to cross-functional decisions without prompting.
• Experience leading joint commercial or business planning in conjunction with a sales organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities across various regions and markets.
• Established ability to build trust and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and ensuring financial accountability linked to ROI.
• Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Willingness to travel 50% - 75% of the time.
