This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop and execute field marketing and brand activation strategies, taking full ownership of regional performance outcomes, which include volume, market share, retail execution, and profitability.
• Set strategic objectives and targets for the Field Marketing team by leveraging market trends, customer insights, and organizational priorities.
• Manage measurable outcomes for each region by defining success metrics (such as volume, distribution, execution standards, and ROI), monitoring performance, and proactively modifying plans to address any gaps.
• Lead the strategy for field-level activation and make final recommendations on prioritization, scale, and execution, while integrating input from Brand and Retail Marketing teams to ensure a comprehensive, 360-degree activation.
• Facilitate the rapid development and deployment of market plans, balancing speed with thoroughness, and continuously iterating in-market.
• Independently translate national brand and innovation priorities into locally relevant, distributor-ready market plans on a consistent schedule.
• Evaluate and review all team plans in collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership, ensuring accountability for quality, clarity, and alignment with business objectives.
• Define and prioritize field marketing initiatives by region, making clear trade-offs based on anticipated business impact.
• Create and implement regional marketing plans that cover programming, POS, sponsorships, trade shows, and sampling, while maintaining a strong in-market presence to validate execution quality and gather insights.
• Lead collaborative commercial planning with regional sales leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities, execution standards, and success metrics, and translating strategy into volume-driving initiatives.
• Build and manage a high-performing field marketing team by setting clear expectations, actively overseeing performance, coaching for impact, and urgently addressing performance gaps.
• Act as a proactive strategic advisor, providing a clear, data-driven perspective on market opportunities, risks, and necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements regarding marketing materials and activities.
• Oversee the field marketing budget, allocating resources to the most impactful opportunities, with clear ROI tracking and ongoing optimization based on performance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 8+ years of experience in field marketing, retail/channel marketing, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in direct people management.
• Proven ability to adapt national programs into market-specific plans promptly and independently, including examples of distributor-facing work products.
• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, delivering high-quality results with urgency.
• Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities, resolve issues, and present a clear perspective on cross-functional decisions without requiring prompts.
• Experience in leading joint commercial or business planning alongside a sales organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities across regions and markets.
• Established ability to build trust and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience managing budgets and ensuring financial accountability linked to ROI.
• Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
