• The Director of Field Reimbursement oversees the national buy-and-bill FRM teams, providing support for Oncology and Specialty, and is responsible for ensuring access, reimbursement, and affordability assistance for HCP-administered and physician-dispensed brands.
• This position is responsible for the performance of the enterprise team, measuring the business impact driven by FRM, and developing an organization that can scale effectively.
• Establish the vision, operational model, and execution priorities for both the Oncology and Specialty FRM teams, in alignment with brand strategy and patient access objectives.
• Define and take ownership of KPIs (execution and performance related to the brand/therapeutic area) for the FRM teams.
• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the Associate Directors who oversee distinct TA-specific FRM teams.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in field leadership, reimbursement (preferably buy and bill), market access, and healthcare strategy.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading field-based teams, with proven capability in managing managers.
• A demonstrated history of building or scaling an FRM or field organization, including recruiting, structuring, and developing teams during periods of rapid growth.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Oncology, Ophthalmology/Eyecare, or complex HCP-administered specialty brands.
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part B, J-codes, buy-and-bill reimbursement, prior authorization, and specialty distribution.
• Experience in defining or owning performance measurement frameworks that connect FRM activity to business outcomes — beyond mere reporting of activity.
