Director – Europe Patient Advocacy, Professional Relations, Patient Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy for patient and professional organizations across Europe.

• Serve as a strategic collaborator with cross-functional leaders to ensure that patient engagement priorities are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with patient advocacy groups at the European and country levels.

• Represent Genmab at European forums and major oncology congresses.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure that the European patient perspective is effectively incorporated into HTA strategies and submissions.

• Identify, design, and execute innovative methods to integrate European patient insights into Genmab's decision-making processes.

• Ensure that all activities comply with relevant European and local regulations as well as industry codes.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree is required (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).

• A minimum of 10 years of experience, including over 6 years in patient engagement/advocacy, stakeholder relations, medical affairs, public affairs, market access, or comparable roles in healthcare/life sciences.

• A strong understanding of European healthcare systems and policy issues affecting oncology patients.

• Proficiency in English is essential; additional European languages are a significant advantage.

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with experience in conducting advisory boards and cross-functional meetings.

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 30% of the time (including occasional overnight and weekend trips), primarily within Europe.
