This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for achieving and surpassing regional targets: OE, margin as sold, pipeline growth, and win/loss ratio across relevant activities for the entire region, while delegating targets to the appropriate sales managers.
• Oversee the development of the sales funnel process from opportunity identification to offer development and contract finalization, either personally or through delegation.
• Spearhead business development agreements with local stakeholders.
• Cultivate and sustain technical and sales expertise to meet the full portfolio needs of the region within assigned business segments and product lines.
• Tasked with addressing technical inquiries at multiple levels while effectively facilitating interactions between business segments and customers throughout the sales process.
• Manage the Capture Strategy for opportunities, which includes identifying bundling possibilities, coordinating product offerings to provide customer-centric solutions, and collaborating with Product and Account Management to establish target pricing and costs.
• Responsible for negotiations with clients until the final contract is signed, ensuring cohesive teamwork and alignment with all pertinent WEC colleagues, including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, finance, and supporting teams.
• Facilitate negotiations with Consortium partners when applicable, ensuring alignment with all relevant WEC teammates.
• Manage opportunities and data within the customer relationship management system for associated opportunities, allocating targets to sales managers and overseeing team performance.
• Lead LOA and offering processes for significant LOA levels, specifically those exceeding Level 2 within Westinghouse, including presentation and securing buy-in from key WEC stakeholders to ensure offerings align with Westinghouse target objectives and customer needs.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in roles related to Nuclear Utilities.
• Profound understanding of Westinghouse technologies and capabilities, with over 5 years of experience managing teams in demanding market environments.
• Technical leader with a strong business development orientation.
• Experience interfacing with customers in both commercial and technical contexts.
• Proficient in communicating with executive-level members of utility companies.
• Results-driven with a focus on closing deals.
• Extensive knowledge of customer operations related to Nuclear Plant Operations.
• Familiarity with the Nuclear Utility procurement processes.
• Proficient in English.
