This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Influence the future of GoHealth’s technological infrastructure and solutions in line with strategic growth objectives.
• Establish intake requirements and design, as well as implement, robust and scalable enterprise platforms, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to grasp business objectives and requirements.
• Assess current technology platforms and formulate a comprehensive technology architecture that supports organizational goals and scalability.
• Identify and prioritize changes to technology platforms, operational enhancements, integrations, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
• Define and promote enterprise architecture standards, best practices, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Recognize AI and machine-learning use cases and convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Document, track, measure, and evaluate the impact of architecture modifications; develop KPIs and OKRs.
• Design, model, test, secure, and implement enterprise systems and applications across the healthcare ecosystem.
• Evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and frameworks for business, IT, security, analytics, engineering, support, clinical technology, and enterprise applications.
• Create resilient, extensible, elastic, scalable, and cost-effective design proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure technology solutions adhere to healthcare regulations, relevant laws, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity on threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response planning.
• Analyze emerging technologies, industry trends, organizational capabilities, and maturity metrics.
• Advise on technologies that enhance infrastructure, efficiency, performance, and capabilities.
• Develop conceptual, detailed, and data-flow architectures, product roadmaps, and project solution architectures.
• Challenge vendors to deliver AI-based functionalities that align with GoHealth’s digital transformation.
• Provide guidance and oversight for technology projects and lead a technology advisory committee.
• Address technical challenges, business cases, prioritization, and deployment risks in collaboration with project managers.
• Align strategic priorities, resource distribution, transformation progress, project milestones, and architectural advancements.
• Cultivate relationships with executives, department heads, external partners, and other stakeholders.
• Offer technical leadership, coaching, mentorship, skill development, and knowledge sharing.
• Promote a high-performing, collaborative team environment with accountability and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Prepare for future leadership responsibilities, including onboarding, performance evaluations, succession planning, and talent development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; relevant work experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• Required certifications include: (ISC)² CISSP and ISSAP.
• Over 7 years of experience in leading enterprise and solution architecture within complex, regulated environments; experience in healthcare is preferred.
• More than 3 years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams.
• Experience in architecting and integrating enterprise and clinical technology platforms at scale.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on enterprise technology initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture within complex, regulated settings, including healthcare ecosystems.
• Strong skills in designing and integrating cloud platforms, enterprise systems, IAM/IGA, and large-scale integrations.
• Proficiency in defining and applying enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Ability to collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams on secure, compliant, resilient solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled and emerging technologies.
• Competence in translating business and clinical requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
• Skill in communicating complex technical concepts to senior leaders and non-technical audiences.
• Capabilities in leadership, influence, coaching, mentoring, and providing technical guidance.
• Ability to lead without authority in a matrixed environment.
• Capacity to lead through ambiguity, change, and transformation.
• Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel between company locations and to out-of-town destinations as necessary, up to 10% of the time.
• Satisfactory verification of Motor Vehicle Record where driving or travel is required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
