This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Formulate and implement growth strategies for the Utilities sector.
• Enhance existing client relationships while driving sustainable revenue growth.
• Oversee business development activities, including opportunity qualification, solution strategy, proposal development, pricing, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and practice leaders on industry offerings, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.
• Develop and expand the practice by identifying capability gaps, recruiting consulting talent, mentoring consultants, and establishing operational processes.
• Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for Utilities consulting projects.
• Ensure successful project delivery, exceptional client outcomes, and long-term account growth.
• Act as executive sponsor and senior advisor on critical client engagements.
• Work with delivery teams to uphold high-quality execution and consulting best practices.
• Guarantee projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and deliver measurable business value.
• Offer subject matter expertise to strategic client initiatives while selectively contributing to high-impact engagements.
• Over 10 years of experience in consulting or professional services.
• Proven leadership in delivering complex business and technology transformation projects.
• Extensive experience working with utility clients.
• Strong understanding of the utility industry's business, operational, regulatory, and technological landscape.
• Experience leading consulting projects in AI & Analytics, Digital Transformation, Strategy & Operations, Technology & Cloud, Grid Modernization, or similar fields.
• Ability to align industry challenges with business and technology solutions.
• Demonstrated success in developing executive-level client relationships and expanding consulting opportunities.
• Experience managing the complete business development lifecycle, including opportunity qualification, solution creation, proposals, pricing, presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Track record of growing accounts, capabilities, or consulting practices.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary consulting teams and mentoring managers, consultants, and technical professionals.
• Capability to balance both growth and delivery responsibilities.
• Strong executive presence and exceptional communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
