This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee the enterprise employee relations strategy, governance framework, escalation model, and standardized practices.
• Offer strategic employee relations advice to executive leaders, business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence.
• Create proactive employee relations strategies, practices, and plans for risk mitigation.
• Provide counsel on and resolve intricate employee relations issues.
• Act as a senior advisor on high-risk, complex, and precedent-setting cases in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, HR leadership, and executives.
• Ensure timely, comprehensive, and documented investigations are conducted.
• Lead the interpretation of policies, performance management, performance standards, and accountability practices.
• Enhance capabilities of leaders and the Employee Relations team through coaching, tools, and guidance.
• Work with business leaders to evaluate organizational challenges, talent requirements, and workforce needs.
• Propel employee engagement action planning alongside HR Business Partners and Leadership.
• Spearhead change management, adoption, and communication initiatives for functional and enterprise-wide projects.
• Assess employee relations trends, engagement metrics, exit data, HR statistics, and case activity.
• Manage employee relations dashboards, case trend reporting, investigation timeliness metrics, and insights on leader capabilities.
• Oversee the review, creation, and standardization of employee relations policies, procedures, templates, and documentation.
• Design, revise, and deliver employee relations training for both leaders and employees.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Employee Relations team members or cross-functional partners.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws in employment practices.
• Utilize authorized AI-enabled tools to enhance communications, documentation, workflow efficiency, and employee relations processes.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
• Equivalent years of relevant experience may be considered in place of the required education.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including 5 years managing complex employee relations matters at various levels is necessary.
• 3 years of leadership experience is essential.
• Proven experience leading an employee relations function, governance model, or enterprise-wide employee relations program is required.
• Background in partnering with Legal and Compliance on complex investigations, policy interpretation, regulatory matters, and risk mitigation strategies is necessary.
• Experience in leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, employee engagement strategies, enterprise-wide programs, and mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
• Familiarity with HR information systems, data analytics, and authorized AI-enabled tools is preferred.
• Strong strategic HR leadership abilities are required.
• Executive presence with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and collaborate with leaders across all levels.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, workplace trends, employee relations best practices, and compliance requirements across multiple states.
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, conflict management, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity and manage sensitive, complex employee relations issues with confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to coach leaders and enhance managerial capabilities.
• Proficiency in analyzing HR metrics, employee relations trends, engagement data, and workforce insights.
• Ability to establish governance standards, define measurable outcomes, and utilize ER analytics.
• Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively across HR, business units, and Centers of Excellence.
• Ability to design and facilitate employee relations, leadership, and HR-related training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Workday, Copilot, and other approved AI-enabled tools is preferred.
