Director, Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain strong, collegial relationships with state education agencies (SEAs) and other clients.

• Perform needs assessments and provide technical assistance tailored to meet client requirements.

• Monitor and adjust technical assistance efforts as necessary.

• Collaborate with project evaluators to gather evidence and serve as a liaison with clients.

• Lead and coordinate technical assistance teams to guarantee high-quality service delivery to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctorate in education, social sciences, public administration, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience at the state and/or national level working with K-12 education policies, regulations, and systems.

• More than 10 years of experience in developing and delivering technical assistance to state and district educators and leaders.

• At least 10 years of experience in conducting needs assessments and providing technical assistance that effectively addresses client needs.

• Over 10 years of experience in creating high-quality technical assistance materials.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with multiple states in the region (VA, TN, KY, or WV).

• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale federal grants or contracts.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of up to 40, including subcontractors, with personnel management responsibilities.
