This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as CSL's main point of contact for the Department of Energy client across the task order portfolio.
• Oversee schedule, budget, and technical scope across several simultaneous task orders.
• Analyze project requirements and seek clarification on conflicting, missing, or ambiguous items.
• Coordinate with partners and technical leads across various disciplines to ensure design deliverables align with quality, schedule, and budget commitments.
• Monitor deliverables throughout the design lifecycle, including 15%, 50%, 95%, and 100% submittals.
• Facilitate submittal and RFI review processes and responses.
• Manage subcontract administration, encompassing invoicing and progress reporting.
• Organize and lead project meetings; keep minutes, track action items, and ensure follow-up.
• Identify risks related to scope, schedule, or budget and escalate to leadership with proposed solutions.
• Assist in project closeout, ensuring all deliverables and documentation are finalized.
• Represent CSL in a professional manner during client and partner interactions.
• Travel as necessary for site visits and client meetings.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance and access to Department of Energy facility sites.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of project management experience is essential.
• Direct oversight of multi-disciplinary engineering teams or projects is required.
• Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering or A&E design projects.
• A sufficient engineering background to review design drawings, calculations, and recommendations, and to evaluate engineering-led work is necessary.
• Ability to provide technical direction without serving as the engineer of record.
• Experience with federal task order contracts, including IDIQ and A&E design services, is required.
• Experience with Department of Energy or Department of Defense contracts is preferred.
• Project management certification, such as PMP, CAPM, or an equivalent, is preferred.
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills are vital.
• Ability to act as the primary interface with federal clients is necessary.
