Director, Demand Generation

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for 100% of the marketing-sourced pipeline across BH, Care, and Ed.

• Your role involves setting and managing pipeline targets by line of business, distributing budget across various channels and segments, and reporting on the marketing's contribution to bookings.

• You will lead and develop a team of three Demand Generation Managers, each accountable for their specific line of business.

• Your responsibilities include building and scaling multi-channel demand programs that encompass paid search, paid social, display, account-based marketing (ABM), email nurturing, webinars, events, and thought-leadership content.

• You will act as the primary marketing liaison for paid media, ABM, and creative agency partners.

• Your role will involve tracking and optimizing full-funnel metrics (MAL, MQL, SAL, SQL, Opportunity, Pipeline, ARR) across all three lines of business.

• You will collaborate with Sales leadership across all three lines of business to define funnel stages, set shared handoff criteria, align on lead scoring and routing logic, and establish structured feedback loops to enhance lead quality and campaign effectiveness over time.

• You will be responsible for the organic growth strategy, which includes SEO and AI engine optimization, to increase discoverability in both traditional search and AI-generated results.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B demand generation, with a minimum of 3 years in direct management and development of a demand generation team.

• Proven experience operating across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments, each with significantly different sales cycles, buyer personas, and go-to-market strategies.

• A successful history of owning a marketing-sourced pipeline number and achieving measurable revenue impact in a large-scale SaaS environment.

• Strong analytical skills; you can interpret funnel data, identify conversion challenges, forecast pipeline health, and create action plans based on concrete data.

• Extensive experience with digital advertising, ABM, campaign management, SEO/AEO, and performance optimization across both paid and organic channels.

• Hands-on familiarity with the marketing and sales technology stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, ZoomInfo, Clay, Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta.

• An AI-first mindset with proven experience in developing agentic workflows and utilizing AI tools to enhance marketing operations, content creation, and decision-making processes.

• Experience managing relationships with external agencies and vendors, with direct accountability for the quality of output and return on investment.

• Comfort in operating within a private equity-backed environment where speed, cost discipline, and accountability to pipeline and revenue targets are essential.
