This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Lead the Platforms team, taking ownership of the roadmap, delivery, and reliability of InterceptOS and PartnerOS.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to determine what should be built, purchased, or phased out.
β’ Oversee the Data & Analytics team, managing insights, data assets, and context that inform strategies and campaigns.
β’ Establish standards for reliable client-facing insights.
β’ Transform data assets into marketable offerings.
β’ Work closely with clients and account teams to identify platform requirements and develop a prioritized PartnerOS roadmap.
β’ Identify, assess, and acquire first-party and third-party data sources.
β’ Conduct vendor evaluations, assess data accuracy, and negotiate feasible commercial agreements.
β’ Develop the data offering by converting raw data into actionable insights and context for strategy, creative, and account teams.
β’ Manage data governance and privacy, including data collection, storage, usage, retention, and compliance.
β’ Set the technical direction and make decisions regarding architecture and build versus buy options.
β’ Recruit, onboard, mentor, and shape the Platforms and Data & Analytics teams.
β’ Report on portfolio status, progress, investment requirements, and risks across both teams and the data roadmap to the CTO and executive leadership team.
β’ A minimum of six years of experience in data and technology roles.
β’ At least three years of experience leading teams, which includes hiring, performance management, and development.
β’ Proven experience managing a platform or product from inception to completion.
β’ Hands-on expertise in data covering pipelines, warehousing, data modeling, and SQL.
β’ Experience in sourcing or licensing third-party data, including evaluating data quality and negotiating commercial terms.
β’ Familiarity with privacy and data governance within a marketing framework, specifically PIPEDA and CASL in Canada, and GDPR for campaigns reaching the EU.
β’ Strong commercial acumen and the ability to construct business cases for data investments.
β’ Knowledge of B2B marketing or martech, including demand generation, ABM, and campaign strategy.
β’ Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Comfortable working fully remotely within a distributed team, with occasional travel for client and team meetings.
