Director, Data Product Coordination Lead – Data & Technology

📋 Description

• Facilitate and synchronize data products across various business domains, ensuring alignment in priorities, ownership, and delivery expectations while establishing clear accountability.

• Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and data delivery teams, driving execution across a matrixed organization and influencing teams to achieve shared outcomes.

• Oversee the intake, prioritization, and demand management of data initiatives, aligning organizational priorities with capacity while maintaining visibility into dependencies and risks.

• Manage end-to-end delivery across Data Ingestion, Data Engineering, and Data Distribution functions, resolving dependencies and ensuring consistent execution.

• Create communication frameworks, governance structures, and reporting mechanisms that provide clarity into portfolio health and delivery metrics.

• Lead the Data Product Coordination function by establishing processes, operating model standards, and performance management practices across matrixed teams.

• Build and nurture a team of Data Product Coordinators aligned with specific business domains (Clinical, Corporate, Commercial), ensuring they acquire deep domain expertise and serve as primary alignment points between business and technical teams.

• Mentor and cultivate talent by defining clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations while enhancing domain knowledge, delivery, and stakeholder management capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5-7+ years of experience in data, analytics, or technology roles.

• 5-7+ years of leadership experience in data and analytics.

• At least 5+ years of experience in the Clinical Trials or Clinical Research industry.

• Profound understanding of clinical systems and the clinical trial lifecycle.

• Excellent communication and execution skills, with a proven ability to drive results in complex, matrixed organizations.
