This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the global data center strategy for Together. Determine investment and leasing locations for data center space while establishing partnerships. Achieve a balance between cost, risk, and speed across different regions to meet product and customer demands.
• Take ownership of site selection and vendor relationships: assess new locations, negotiate substantial colocation and power contracts, and oversee vendor performance regarding cost, delivery, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Define and procure site connectivity from a variety of network providers.
• Lead the technical site diligence process: evaluate power, cooling, redundancy, grid, and expansion capacity. Collaborate with engineers and consultants while also engaging technically—beyond just project management.
• Negotiate and interact with executive and senior management.
• Propel high-impact commercial and strategic transactions by engaging with suppliers and internal executive leadership.
• Assist in sovereign and large-scale customer agreements by providing tailored infrastructure scoping.
• Work collaboratively across departments including Infrastructure, Finance, Product, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to align site investments with demand and the product roadmap.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in data center strategy, site selection, or infrastructure planning within a hyperscaler, AI infrastructure company, or major colocation provider.
• Strong technical understanding of data center fundamentals: power architecture, cooling systems (including liquid cooling), redundancy schemes, and rack density.
• Proven experience in leading complex, large-scale negotiations, structuring colocation/power contracts, and managing request for proposal (RFP) processes.
• Familiarity with standard data center, power, and real estate legal and contractual frameworks.
• Financial proficiency in total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, lease versus ownership analysis, and understanding cost drivers in power and colocation.
