• Lead innovative creative exploration at the convergence of storytelling, production techniques, and new creative tools and workflows.
• Design and implement creative prototypes and proof-of-concept projects that assess creative value, technical viability, and production impact.
• Analyze emerging tools, models, and workflows through practical experimentation in actual production settings.
• Investigate novel artistic and production methods that encompass animation, live action, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with studios and business units to provide proof-of-concept and focused go-live projects that align with genuine production requirements.
• Customize creative exploration to fit the workflows, limitations, and creative contexts of teams across animation, live-action, and VFX.
• Act as a creative production partner to studio teams assessing and testing new creative capabilities.
• Facilitate early adoption by validating workflows in realistic, production-ready scenarios.
• Work closely with Platform Integration to ensure alignment of creative exploration with identified production opportunities.
• Partner with Engineering to guide tool design, usability, and creative possibilities from the perspective of a working artist.
• Transform exploratory concepts into concrete creative demonstrations that can be validated, refined, and handed off.
• Build, lead, and mentor small, agile creative production teams that are optimized for swift experimentation and delivery.
• Assemble and manage project-specific artists and specialists as needed to support particular initiatives or creative areas.
• Develop engaging creative demonstrations that effectively convey new capabilities and workflows to internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience in senior creative management while maintaining a hands-on role in execution.
• Extensive production expertise in a senior capacity such as Animation Supervisor, Character Supervisor, CG Supervisor, or VFX Supervisor.
• Demonstrated creative judgment rooted in real-world production settings and workflows.
• Experience in building, leading, and mentoring small, highly skilled creative teams.
• Strong understanding of comprehensive production processes across animation, live action, or visual effects.
• Ability to collaborate closely with technical and operational partners, including Platform Integration and Engineering.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity, early-stage exploration, and rapidly changing creative and technical environments.
• Clear and credible communicator who can articulate creative value and production impact to both artists and technologists.
• Experience operating at a senior level with stakeholders, including the ability to engage as a peer with VPs and SVPs.
• Capacity to balance creative experimentation with operational discipline, quality standards, and production rigor.
• Interest or experience in working within dynamic, emerging, or AI-enabled creative workflows.
