This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Lead HOKA’s global initiatives in physical storytelling and experience design, collaborating with regional teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Offer creative direction for retail expressions and pop-up events.
• Develop distinctive in-store experiences and campaigns that enhance product launch awareness and drive conversions for brand initiatives.
• Work alongside Brand Creative to execute cohesive campaigns.
• Motivate and guide a team of both in-house and freelance designers.
• Collaborate with HOKA Marketing to unify global creative efforts.
• Foster a deep understanding of consumer journeys, visual hierarchy, and real-life activations.
• Establish and advance storytelling strategies for physical retail environments.
• Conceptualize and design engaging brand experiences.
• Remain at the cutting edge of trends and technological advancements.
• Manage projects throughout all stages of the production cycle.
• Evaluate, strategize, and convert creative briefs into actionable plans.
• Conduct reviews, offer constructive feedback, and present ideas effectively.
• Set the standard for creative excellence in design, storytelling, and experiences.
• Bring over 10 years of design experience, whether in an agency or an in-house environment.
• Have a minimum of 5 years in a senior creative leadership role, managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Possess a BA in Graphic Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrate experience in creative design, seasonal storytelling, and activations for retail spaces and events.
• Have a genuine connection to performance lifestyle brands and mission-driven companies.
• Present a diverse portfolio showcasing sophistication in architecture, interior design, graphic design, typography, layout, and in-store storytelling campaigns.
• Be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Figma), Microsoft Office, and have familiarity with project/asset management tools.
• Be a strategic thinker and skilled creative conceptualizer.
• Serve as an inspirational leader, dedicated to mentoring and developing creative teams.
