This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee comprehensive financial analysis and valuation activities related to strategic transactions, such as M&A, licensing, and partnerships.
• Develop, enhance, and manage intricate financial models that factor in various scenarios, risks, and assumptions.
• Lead transaction activities beyond valuation, encompassing structuring, negotiations, and execution.
• Integrate cross-functional insights into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Utilize independent judgment to question assumptions, uncover opportunities, and identify risks.
• Act as a trusted collaborator with key internal stakeholders, including Commercial, R&D, IP, Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and Transformation/Integration teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions and alignment, often balancing competing priorities to promote decision-making.
• Independently conduct meetings and manage workstreams with senior stakeholders to sustain deal momentum.
• Cultivate relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, legal counsel, and consulting firms, ensuring they produce high-quality outputs that align with transaction goals and timelines.
• Improve Corporate Development processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency, consistency, and execution discipline.
• Create and maintain transaction tracking systems and reporting frameworks.
• Effectively handle multiple concurrent transactions and priorities.
• Exhibit strong emotional intelligence and adaptability while navigating dynamic stakeholder environments.
• Foster alignment across large, cross-functional teams and ensure timely achievement of key milestones.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A master's degree is preferred.
• 6-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling and valuation across a variety of transaction types.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex, high-visibility projects.
• Strong history of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering presentations at the executive level.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying risks and crafting solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, emphasizing detail and clarity in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and external advisors in transactional settings.
• High level of ownership, proactiveness, and intellectual curiosity.
