Director, Content Strategy – Training

📋 Description

• Assess Field Medical (FM) requirements alongside DSC and formulate strategies for Neuroimmunology/Neurodegeneration disease areas and scientific content that set Novartis products apart throughout pre-approval, launch, and lifecycle management.

• Spearhead cross-functional planning to identify FM content necessities and direct Content Development, HEOR, and clinical teams in producing high-quality, compliant scientific materials for customer engagement.

• Collaborate with MCD and PTLs to customize content and tools according to local healthcare region demands and customer priorities.

• Ensure that both external and internal resources remain compliant, up-to-date, and aligned with FM and disease area strategies.

• After securing approval, guarantee the availability of content/tools and provide clear, compliant guidance to FM associates in accordance with FM WP.

• Synchronize content and training plans with DSC, HEOR, MST, and compound timelines across various disease areas and product responsibilities.

• Work with LT to harmonize strategy, customer content, and implementation plans throughout the FM organization.

• Shadow MSLs to gather customer insights and continually enhance tools, content, and field effectiveness.

• Create and execute FM training plans with DSC, incorporating scientific narratives, medical value statements, patient journeys, real-world scenarios, Novartis data, disease landscapes, implications, and FAQs.

• Lead therapeutic onboarding, coaching, and sharing of best practices for MSLs while managing FM strategies for key Medical Congresses, including coverage strategies, budget alignment, briefs, and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector is necessary.

• Strong personal integrity, customer orientation, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration/influence, along with excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential.

• Proven capability in project management, prioritization, organization, and effective operation in a dynamic environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other pharmaceutical industry regulations, with the ability to ensure adherence to external requirements and Novartis internal guidelines and standard operating procedures (e.g., Working Practices and Ethics & Compliance guidelines).

• Proven experience in managing projects and effectively coaching, mentoring, communicating with, and providing constructive feedback to scientific/clinical personnel at all skill and knowledge levels.

• Ability to strategize and implement plans, work efficiently across functions in a matrix organization, and lead without direct authority.

• Strong capacity to organize, prioritize, and drive execution across multiple priorities.
