Director, Consumer Growth – Market Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Interact with customers, partners, startups, and various market ecosystems.

• Recognize unmet needs, emerging trends, and market opportunities.

• Convert insights into clear, testable venture hypotheses that align with NDS Consumer’s business objectives.

• Establish and manage a systematic approach to assess new opportunities.

• Source and integrate opportunities across different markets and sectors.

• Define criteria for evaluation (strategic alignment, differentiation, risk-to-ROI).

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure alignment of resources and readiness for execution.

• Assess product, operational, technical, and delivery readiness.

• Identify and communicate gaps proactively.

• Advise on whether to build, partner, pause, or discontinue initiatives.

• Present opportunities and insights to executive leadership to influence decision-making.

• Facilitate regular opportunity reviews with clear outcomes (continue, pivot, terminate).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and validating new businesses, products, or growth initiatives.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional efforts in uncertain environments.

• Practical experience in venture creation, pilot programs, and go-to-market strategies.

• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives in ambiguous settings.

• Experience as a founder or in early-stage/startup roles.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled products or emerging technologies.
