Director, Consult Partner – Insurance

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional teams through intricate consulting projects.

• Develop strategic change initiatives involving C-suite stakeholders in Kyndryl’s largest client accounts.

• Foster significant growth within an established portfolio of insurance clients.

• Manage, operate, and expand a focused set of accounts.

• Discover and pursue whitespace opportunities.

• Modernize essential business lines through AI-driven transformations.

• Construct pipelines and finalize deals with Life and P&C carriers, brokers, and MGAs.

• Assist clients in their modernization journeys.

• Align business requirements with technological solutions.

• Communicate the value proposition to Lines of Business and IT divisions.

• Coordinate complex underwriting processes.

• Automate case-based decision-making and risk assessment.

• Improve broker and agent engagement strategies.

• Position Agentic AI around specific business outcomes.

• Explain how Agentic AI revolutionizes claims processes, including FNOL, triage, adjudication, and fraud detection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in the insurance industry, including complex, high-risk, and customized coverage models.

• Strong comprehension of specialty underwriting, broker-driven distribution, and tailored policy frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to build pipelines and close deals across a variety of Life and P&C sectors involving carriers, brokers, and MGAs.

• Skill in identifying whitespace opportunities and positioning transformation-focused engagements.

• Solid understanding of insurance core platforms, including Policy Administration Systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, and Majesco.

• Familiarity with underwriting and workflow management tools.

• Knowledge of claims systems, particularly in specialty/P&C contexts.

• Capacity to advocate for the transformation of legacy technology infrastructures.

• Proven ability to lead and promote Agentic AI-driven transformations.

• Awareness of AI-driven transformation use cases.

• Track record of successfully managing, expanding, and growing accounts from a minimal base into substantial revenue streams.

• Ability to operate effectively in whitespace environments.

• Experience in a hybrid hunter-farmer role with measurable results in account growth and new client acquisitions.

• Comfort interacting with CXO-level executives.

• Established market relationships with specialty carriers, brokers, and MGAs.

• Experience in Property & Casualty is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with Life Insurance and brokerage ecosystems is a plus.

• Preferred experience in positioning AI within Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Majesco platforms.
